As a child, I went to multiple state and national competitions for air rifles and air pistols, under the instruction of Lenny Anderson. He taught me the fundamentals of marksmanship, which I still apply and teach today. As I grew older, I received my conceal carry license and have carried a handgun for most of my adult life. I am also a competitive shooter, competing in PCSL and USPSA. I am a proud Air Force veteran, and an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
I became certified as an instructor with the NRA, under the instruction of Don Larson.

I completed The Inner Game of Shooting with Brian Hill of The Complete Combatant and earned an accuracy patch as well as a purple Ant patch.
