About Me

meet Mitch Lorentz

As a child, I went to multiple state and national competitions for air rifles and air pistols, under the instruction of Lenny Anderson. He taught me the fundamentals of marksmanship, which I still apply and teach today. As I grew older, I received my conceal carry license and have carried a handgun for most of my adult life. I am also a competitive shooter, competing in PCSL and USPSA. I am a proud Air Force veteran, and an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

I became certified as an instructor with the NRA, under the instruction of Don Larson.

I have successfully completed Defensive Handgun One and Low Light Defensive Handgun Two, both under the instruction of Aaron Appelwick.

I have completed pistol 1 & 2 with Paul Perkerson of the warrior poet society.

I have completed fighting pistol at Tactical Response. I have also vetted the skills I teach with force on force training in real life scenarios at Tactical Response.

I have trained with Scott Jedlinski of Modern Samurai Project at their red dot pistol instructor course.

I have trained with Jon Dufresne in his red dot pistol class.

I received top gun by getting a perfect score on the FBI qualification, the Rangemaster qualification, and the Rangemaster written exam in Tom Givens instructor development coarse.

I completed The Inner Game of Shooting with Brian Hill of The Complete Combatant and earned an accuracy patch as well as a purple Ant patch.

I completed 1911/2011 Driver course taught by AJ Zito. To gain a better understanding of how the 1911/2011 works and to be able to operate and help you get the most out of yours.

I completed Mike “Ox’s” red dot mastery course. Learned¬† how to help you see faster and shoot faster.

I completed practical performance taught by Tim Herron. Learning more about the world of competitive shooting, and improving performance.

I am also a licensed EMR volunteering with my local service to help preserve and protect lives.
